Guest Lecture Series

OCMC Introduces new Guest Lecture Series

Guest Lecture Series are lecture events that focus on their experience with math and science and what they did to be successful in that particular area. Each lecture will include two speakers, a break in between, and a question and answer session following each event.

Our Mission:

The Lectures are designed to create a positive learning environment for students of all age groups. We strive to provide the most effective and motivated lectures by professors and highly achieved students. We hope that these events will not only motivate students but also expand their perspectives in Math and Science.

Event Schedule:

There will be about 4 - 5 total lectures during the school year. The specific date for the next lecture will be announced a day or two after the previous event ends. There will be more information sent through email about 2 weeks before each lecture. This event is free of charge, but there will be fundraising events at the lecture.

Why to Attend:

  • You will gain valuable lessons regarding Science and Math.

  • You will hear from famous professors, successful high school students, and experienced college students.

  • You will be able to interact with the professors and ask questions during the discussion period.
