Mathematicians Without Borders

Responding to a call for help from our national math network, the Orange County Math Circle hosted the American Mathematics Contest (AMC 10/12B) exams on February 24, 2010 for a team of twenty-five high school students from China during their US visit. Representing magnet high schools in Shanghai, the group made a stop in Irvine after their college tour on both Coasts and attending the Harvard/MIT Math Tournament. It's fun to make new friends through a shared interest--a great example of mathematicians without borders.
